! Oh God, what have I done? I just sent it out there, and now I can’t take it back. They have that addled sleep deprived, slightly buzzed explanation of all my academic failures. They have that stupid resume that doesn’t seem to list any accomplishments. I talked ad nauseum about my high school debate club. FFFFFUUUU What have I done?
Saying goodbyes is always hard. You hug a little tighter, smell a little deeper, attempt to commit to feel the person to your memory. You want time to stop, but it can’t and you know it can’t. You know that you have to go on. So you cling on for a moment, and press your lips to their check and murmur, “I’ll see you when I see you.”
Dad says life is nothing more than a series of hellos and goodbyes.
