What does the first day of school look like in your classroom?

  8. tomesaway said: Classes are usually cut short to allow for schedule distribution in homeroom (the one day a year we have that “class”), so I’ll assign seats until I learn names, start going over the syllabus and then the bell rings.
  9. grayer answered: (Elementary) Lots of procedures. We practice routines a lot. “What should this look like?” There are also some writing samples.
