All right, I realize I already asked a TDD question, but I just remembered another that I’ve been meaning to post.

Recently katy-mylady posted about making a Prezi to introduce herself to her students. I think that sounds cool, but I am always very hesitant to talk about myself with my students. I’d rather err on the side of less personal, in general, and I’m cautious about making my classroom too much about me. But taking time to introduce yourself seems pretty important, and I didn’t really do it last year.

So: how do you introduce yourself to your students? What kinds of things do you think are helpful to share?

  8. katy-mylady answered: Mine is a “story of pictures” that’s very similar to the student info quiz that I give them

  13. lhuddles answered: I have my kids do a student info sheet—I do one myself, too. I think it’s important they know I’m a real person :)
