Into the Strenuous Briefness

Been grading these notebooks for what seems like forever. I wouldn’t have had students pasting assignments into a five-subject notebook if I was in charge of the sixth grade supply list, but I get what I walk into. So I lug these home and try to grade what I can carry in one of those boxes you get when you buy a case of paper. Slowly but surely they’re getting graded and luckily the students are doing the SAT right now so they don’t need them.

Got to work early on Tuesday in the hopes of knocking out some early morning grading only to find out that every second Tuesday of the month we have a curriculum meeting with all of the Social Studies teachers in the building.
