Our district started using Google Apps for Education this year. I am fairly proficient with Google stuff, but have not forayed much into the technicalities of using the GAfE stuff with kids.
I just built a template for them to use along with the rubric, and I’m working on a more detailed assignment instruction sheet.
Each page of the template has comments enabled; part of their grade will come from commenting on each other’s stuff. They will be assigned 2 “critical friends” and will be held accountable for activity on those 2 sites.
I am very interested to see how this goes. I’ll keep you posted!
